2. Taking a proper look at our new apartment–we’ll be moving in there by the end of my trip (weird, so soon) but it’s a nice flat

3. Day 2 of mild jetlag–crashed on couch for two hours this evening (between 5pm and 7pm again). Oh I love that couch so much. I also love not having any major responsibilities. :)

Soooo, please excuse the last month and a half of my failed 3BTs. I’m now pledging to start over and actually just do this a day at a time rather than trying to play catch up.

So.

Today I love…

1. Finding a fully functional campus bike right outside my dorm, when I was about to walk halfway across campus to meet someone. Yay for bike rides, even short ones.

2. Submitting my research proposal for IRB approval–I can’t quite believe I’ll be doing my own research next semester. Prof M is so fantastic for helping me through this project. Love her.

3. RN’s farewell party and theĀ embarrassingĀ stories he told about everyone in the room :)

4. La Cabana TCC lunch–om nom nom. Also, really, really, really going to miss LR when she goes off campus next semester!

5. Being DONE with finals!

04.11.10 – 10.11.10

Sorry I’m playing catch up again! Gah. Okay, I WILL be better at this in the future!

1. Diwali at Grinnell! Wonderful day, despite not being with family. Diwali dinner was fun + the post-dinner Ravana burning was exciting. Plus B and I celebrated on our own…

2. B and my Outsourced marathon on the night of Diwali :)

3. B and my shopping trip to Des Moines–lots of new sweaters and full sleeve tops. Winter, here I come!

4. The GRILLE. So much paper writing and work done there.

5. Moving back into my real room–no more bugs, let’s hope.

6. Having all my pre-reg stuff done–a gazillion signatures and forms later, I’m registered for my spring classes! RUS 102 (Beginning Russian II), EDU 221 (Educational Psychology), ENG 225 (Intro to Post Colonial Lit !!!), SOC 390 (Seminar on Social Structures) and PHE 100 (Beginning Yoga).

7. My meeting with Dr. Sandler–Grinnell alum, trustee, and prof of my course on the US healthcare system. He’s so cool! Gotta love alums.

8. The wonderful [2010alums] vid for Grinnell in wake of the not-so-wonderful campus events last week

9. Stargazing with AC! :) Fun times
